The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce ss set to release the 2023 Regional Hispanic Economic Report

Sacramento, CA – Hispanics continue to drive a significant economic impact across our growing region. The Annual State of Hispanics produced by the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC), provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of our Hispanic community across the Greater Sacramento region.
At this year’s event, the 2023 Regional Hispanic Economic Report will be unveiled. The bi-annual report was completed in partnership with Sacramento State and Sacramento Area of Council Governance (SACOG). The inaugural report was released in 2021.
“This second report allows us to expand our understanding about the economic impact and opportunities for Hispanics. ” says Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, President and CEO.. “Hispanics have contributed greatly to the economic vitality of our region and are key to continued economic growth. At SOH, we are excited to be joined by leaders, partners and entities from across our greater Sacramento region, who recognize the positive impact of our demographic and are ready to work with us towards ensuring a path to prosperity for all,” she added.
The Annual State of Hispanics will host a panel of industry leaders representing key industries in our region. The event will also include a panel conversation with three Los Rios Community College District Presidents, all three of Hispanic descent to share their stories and vision for ensuring equity for the students they serve.
The Honorable Rosario Rodriguez, Mayor of the City of Folsom, and Dr. Art Pimentel, President of Folsom Lake College are the 2023 Honorary Chairs of the event.
“I am honored to serve as Honorary Chair along with Mayor Rosario,” says Dr.Pimentel, “The Hispanic community plays a critical role in higher education and workforce development. I look forward to welcoming leadership to Folsom Lake College and to strengthening our ecosystem by meeting the needs of our communities we serve across our region.” he added.
