Sacramento, CA – Today, the Sacramento Bee debuted the inaugural list of the 25 Latino Change Makers developed by its Equity Lab, in partnership with the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP).

To honor this recognition, the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC) hosted a private gathering this morning at Tequila Museo Mayauel in Sacramento, to celebrate the 25 Latino Change Makers.

“I am honored to be among leaders who are friends, mentors, and colleagues. Many of those recognized have been engaged in our work at the e SACHCC, throughout the years. As change agents, their leadership has been based on service to our organization and to our community. In all their respective fields, they have made a difference that matters,” said Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, President/CEO.

This recognition seeks to identify, elevate and empower Latinos in the region who are creating change and demonstrating leadership through their actions. These champions stand out as innovative problem-solvers who find solutions for critical issues in our communities through their respective lines of work across our region.
