Sacramento Hispanic Chamber Unveils 3rd Regional Hispanic Economic Report at State of Hispanics Event
Sacramento, CA – The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SACHCC) will unveil the 3rd Edition of the Regional Hispanic Economic Report at its State of Hispanics event on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Folsom Lake College’s Harris Center for the Arts. This landmark study highlights the economic progress, contributions, and opportunities of Hispanics in the Greater Sacramento Region, underscoring their role as a driving force in the region’s growth.
The State of Hispanics event will convene elected officials, business leaders, and community advocates to examine the report’s findings and spark strategies that advance economic mobility and inclusive growth for all communities. The program will include a press conference, a panel discussion with regional leaders, and a keynote fireside chat with Dr. Tara Lynn Gray, Director of the California Office of the Small Business Advocate.
“This report tells a powerful story of both progress and possibility,” said Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, President & CEO of SACHCC. “Hispanics are shaping the future of our workforce, our businesses, and our neighborhoods. But this is not just about Hispanic growth — when we invest in Hispanic communities, we strengthen prosperity for the entire Sacramento region.”
The report, available in both English and Spanish, provides data and insights on the fastest-growing segment of the region’s population, economy, and workforce. Its release comes at a pivotal moment as leaders seek strategies to ensure inclusive growth, support entrepreneurship, and expand pathways to opportunity.
“This is more than a report — it’s a roadmap,” said Jose Bodipo-Memba, Chief Diversity Officer at SMUD and Chair of the SACHCC Board of Directors. “By working together across sectors, we can build a stronger economy that lifts every community.”
