The third edition of the Hispanic Economic Report underscores the growing role of Hispanics in shaping the economic future of the Greater Sacramento Region. With nearly 600,000 Hispanic residents, the community now represents a critical share of the region’s workforce, consumers, and business owners.
The data show encouraging progress: the income gap between Hispanic and non-Hispanic households has narrowed significantly over the last decade, labor force participation remains strong, and high school graduation rates are nearly on par with regional averages. These indicators reflect a community positioned to drive middle-class growth at a time when California and the nation are focused on sustaining a competitive, future-ready workforce.
