ACCESO Sacramento will launch as an Economic Relief Small Business Grant Program to celebrate the Chamber’s 50th Anniversary

SACRAMENTO, CA – In its 50th anniversary, The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce SACHCC) and the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (SACHCCF), is pleased to announce the launch of ACCESO Sacramento. With funding provided in part by Sacramento County, this new program will distribute grants totaling $50,000 in direct economic support to small businesses.
“The COVID-19 pandemic brought a lot of challenges to our small businesses here in the Greater Sacramento Region,” said Veronica Delgado, SACHCCF Board Chair and Sacramento State’s Associate Director of Admissions. “Our ACCESO Sacramento grants will help bring economic relief and business growth opportunities to many of these businesses during these uncertain times. Eligible businesses must be located within the Sacramento County limits and use funds for general business operations, payroll expenses, supplier payments, rent, lease, or mortgage payments for the business property, Personal Protective Equipment and/or sanitation supplies and equipment, investment in software or technology to maintain online operations, equipment purchase to expand or modify operations. All requirements and eligibility are outlined on the grant portal.
“For the last 50 years, we’ve been passionately advocating and supporting small businesses by providing resources, education, connections and funds to help our community grow and prosper, said Cathy Rodriguez Aguirre, President and CEO for the SACHCC and Foundation. “We continue to commit to building a stronger economic prosperity for everyone across our region. ACCESO Sacramento is another example of that commitment.”
