The Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (SACHCCF) is pleased to announce their partnership with the City of Sacramento to distribute twenty (20) $2,500 small business grants totaling $50,000 in direct economic support to small businesses in the Northgate Boulevard Commercial District.
ACCESO Sacramento – Northgate, seeks to help small businesses located along Northgate Boulevard recover from the negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 public health emergency.

a) Has no more than 500 employees or, if applicable, the size standard in number of employees established by the Administrator of the Small Business Administration for the industry in which the business concern or organization operates;
b) Is located within the city limits of the City of Sacramento;
c) Is located on Northgate Boulevard or within 500 feet of Northgate Boulevard;
d) In operation as of March 1, 2022, is in operation at time of grant submittal; and intends to remain open; and
e) Meets either or both of the following:
- Is located within a 2021 or 2022 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Qualified Census Tract (QCT);
OR - Has faced challenges in covering payroll, mortgage or rent, or other operating costs as a result of the public health emergency and measures taken to control the spread of COVID-19.
APPLICANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE MEMBERS OF THE SACRAMENTO HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Each $2,500 award is a one-time, competitive, grant provided the business meets all eligible criteria. All applications will be reviewed by SACHCC staff for completeness and eligibility. Evaluation will be completed by an external advisory committee. Applicants will not be notified if an application is incomplete.
Authorized uses include general business operations, payroll expenses, supplier payments, rent, lease, or mortgage payments for the business property, personal protective equipment and/or sanitation supplies and equipment, investment in software or technology to maintain online operations, or the purchase of equipment to expand or modify operations.
- Complete and submit an online (or fillable) application from (03/01/2023) to (03/31/2023);
- Submit a copy of a valid City of Sacramento Business Operations Tax Certificate of the applying business;
- Completed W-9 form;
- Evidence of proper use of grant funds (i.e., bills or invoices); and
- Submit the Acceso Sacramento – Northgate Grant Application
